About The Exam
Certiport exams are delivered at authorized testing centers known as Certiport Centers. All exams are administered in a proctored environment. Proctors are authorized by Certiport to deliver the exams according to specific testing regulations. Most exams have a 45- to 60- minute time limit.

Microsoft Office Specialist exams use "live" or real applications to provide the most authentic evaluation of your knowledge, skills and abilities regarding Microsoft Office applications. This method of testing uses specialized examination software while simultaneously running the actual office applications. IC3 exams do not require live applications, but do require specialized examination software available on testing workstations found at authorized Certiport Centers. IC3 exams measure the core knowledge and skills required for basic use of computer hardware, software, networks, and the Internet. IC3 Certification requires the completion of the following three exams:
